Overnight Camp Program

Campers participate in activities for the week from arts and crafts, sailing, canoeing, pontoon boat, archery, hiking, soccer, basketball and volleyball. Ropes and challenge course is available for an additional fee.

All campers are required to participate in our daily swimming program. Campers are tested on the first day of camp and placed in groups according to skill level. Campers may ask to be retested at any time. Waterfront activities are carefully supervised by staff who are American Red Cross certified, and all swimming and safety rules are strictly enforced.

Campers are assigned to cabins by age and may request to bunk with one friend. We can guarantee placement together ONLY if that camper has requested you as a cabin mate. At the end of the online registration form there is a space for a bunkmate request. Our largest cabins hold 16 campers and the smallest 10; there are two counselors per cabin.

The staff at Lourdes Camp has a sincere interest in each camper’s needs and is chosen on the basis of character, sensitivity, responsibility, specific skills and the ability to relate to children on an individual basis. They must also have a sense of humor!
